David Bove is a Cicero-North Syracuse graduate where he earned All-League and All-CNY honors as a varsity athlete he finished his high school career with 30 goals and 45 assists. David moved on to Mohawk Valley Community College where he helped lead the Hawks to a number four national ranking and a regional final berth in 2000. After time at MVCC David attended Keuka College and help Keuka College to a NEAC regular season and post-season tournament Championship earning a berth in the ECAC Tournament advancing to the semi finals. David finished his collegiate career from the University of Pittsburgh while competing with the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford varsity squad. At the end of his college career David had 33 Goals and 65 assists.

His coaching experience spans over 25 years, including over 15 in the greater Syracuse area with Northstars SC, Arsenal Academy, Empire United, Syracuse Soccer Academy, Syracuse Fusion and Syracuse Developmental Academy. David spent time as the JV coach at Marcellus High School before moving on to serve as a women's assistant at LeMoyne College. He spent two additional seasons at Onondaga Community College as a men's assistant before taking on the role of the girl's varsity head coach at Phoenix High School. In 2017-2019 David was the General Manager and Youth Soccer Director at CNY Family Sports Centre in Syracuse NY. In 2019 he was Director of Soccer Operations and Head Men’s and Women’s JV Coach at Bryant & Stratton Syracuse, Bryant & Stratton Men won the USCAA National Title and the Women lost in Group play at Nationals. Before coming to Coliseum he was the Assistant Academy Director at Syracuse FC. David currently holds a USSF National C License.

David currently lives in Syracuse, NY with his wife Gina and Dog Cannoli.
