2006 Coliseum Soccer Club Dinner Dance

On Saturday March 25, 2006, members and guests of the Coliseum Soccer Club came together for the 28th Annual Coliseum Soccer Club Dinner Dance. A cocktail hour with appetizers, followed by dinner, and dancing to the music of Classified all combined to highlight the programs of the club. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Frank Leone Memorial Scholarship to Stefano Magro and Lindsay Tolpa.

Coliseum Soccer Club Development Program 2005-2006

Once again the memebers of the Coliseum Soccer Club have worked to prepare some of the youngest players in the Mohawk Valley for years of competitive soccer. The program is intended to introduce players from ages 4 through 8 to the fundamentals skills needed for the sport and to introduce them to team participation. AYSO/Coliseum Program 2004-2005

The Coliseum Soccer Club has a long history of promoting youth soccer programs in the Mohawk Valley. From the early sponsorship in 1987 of the AYSO Soccerfest in Whitesboro through the 1999 Frankfort Soccerfest, and to the current youth teams active in the outdoor and indoor programs, the club retains its commitment to the young players of today. 2004 and 2005 found the Coliseum involved in the promotion of a skills building program for some of the youngest players in the area. Under the direction of club member Allan Foote, the Coliseum sponsored an indoor program at the Field of Dreams complex in Yorkville. As these photos will show, the program provided some of the youngest players an organized structure to learn basic soccer skills and teamwork that will follow them throughout their soccer careers.
